Thinking About a Blog is About as Far as I Usually Get

I spend far too much time thinking up great blog ideas. I have list upon list of blog topics that perhaps one day I will create (and then promptly abandon). This is why for the most part I do not take any action – too many ideas. I just get overwhelmed and spend time dreaming about a what things would be like if I made a successful blog. If I lived in Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood I would probably be the most bad ass blogger in the Neighbourhood of Make-Believe.
This is not the case. I should try things out in reality
To start my blogging adventure I need an idea of what to blog about. We have all heard before that you should find a niche topic that you are passionate about. Of course the purpose of this is so that you don’t get bored and give up on your blog.
Personally I get bored if a blog does not make any money.
I spent most of today thinking about what I would like to write about that could also make a bit of money. Money, that’s is my motivation to keep blogging. If a blog can make me some consistent cash, then I get excited and keep writing. So what I did was make a list of all of my hobbies and things that I enjoy that I could possibly blog about. I spent a fair amount of time staring at my book shelf for ideas. So at the end of the day after making a few lists I decided that I would like to blog about Star Wars collectibles. I think this would be fun and could probably make a bit of money. The wheels are already spinning, but I don’t want to get ahead of myself so I will end for today and pickup with the next step tomorrow – Keyword Research

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the list. Better copy it before you delete this blog too!
How’s the keyword research going? I find it hard to keep going for long. My head always feels like it’s exploding after 15 minutes and I have to keep starting again but by the next day I’m off on another tangent so, all in all, I’m getting absolutely nowhere, very fast.
