This was a project that I did while I worked at Sage. I didn’t do the design for it, but instead did a lot of WordPress customization.
For the build of this site my primary objective was to ensure that all of the office and lawyer details were entered only once in the website dashboard and then distributed throughout the site to the proper locations. This was to ensure that the client would be able to easily add (and remove) new lawyers and offices without much hassle.
To accomplish this I used a combination of Custom Post types, taxonomies, and custom fields in conjunction with some fancy WordPress Queries to ensure that all the client had to do was add a bio, a picture, select the areas that the lawyer practice in, and the offices they practiced out of. When the client published this new data, the appropriate information that they entered would be shown on the Areas of Practice, Lawyer Profiles, Lawyer bio, and on the office page.
This site is a great example of how powerful WordPress can be with use of Custom Post Types and Taxonomies.
