You really have to wonder how many of these online profiles and about me pages a person fills out in their lifetime. I guess since this is my website I should take the time to create yet another bit of rambling text about myself…
Here a few points of interest:
1. I am a Stay at Home Dad/Freelance Web Developer
Currently I am a full time Dad, part time Web Developer. I’m kind of a web “Jack of All Trades” as I worked as a web Swiss Army Knife in my last job prior to moving to full time Daddy Day Care. What this means is that when it comes to the web in terms of websites I have a ton of knowledge (WordPress, Search Engine Optimziation, traffic generation, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, web and social media marketing, and the list goes on…).
I specialize in using WordPress for web development with a focus on blog development, design, and promotion.
2. I suffer from Nostaligia
Nostaligia is term I have coined for the fact that I am obessesed with things from my past. Most of this has to do with TV shows, movies and toys. I have a real thing for the toys that I grew up like GI Joes, Transformers, He Man etc and would be more than happy to watch 80′s Saturday Morning cartoons while eating a bowl of Mr T. Cereal. (I’m still looking for a full box).
3. I like making money
Quite often when I am about to start a personal project, learn a new skill, or even just walk down the road, I think to myself: “How can I profit from this?” I’m kind of obsessed with early retirement and try to find new ways for my family to stop working and spend all our time together. I enjoy ‘wheeling and dealing’ and I have a long term project where I started with a single penny and through my wheeling plan on taking 27 doubling steps to turn that penny into a million dollars.
